The brain is the control center of the human body. It regulates movement, preserves memory, and drives the body’s involuntary functions. It is divided into two sides called hemispheres, each divided into lobes. The lobes of the brain are called the frontal lobes, the parietal lobes, occipital lobes, and the temporal lobes. Other major parts of the brain include the cerebellum, which regulates movement, and the brainstem which connects to the spinal cord.
